Introduction to Shingles Sound Therapy

Shingles equals Pain and such a deep pain, one you can hardly tolerate. There are meds that seem to help some people and numbing agents that a person can spray on or rub on, but the pain can be severe. You can’t sit, you can’t sleep, it hurts to wear clothes.

Sound Therapy works because everything vibrates and has a set frequency. Your skin has one frequency, your muscles, your heart; your liver — each has its own frequency. Science has been able to identify these frequencies and duplicate them. Universal Sound Therapy takes those frequencies and develops a protocol or series of frequencies that address all the various issues related to Shingles. Your body hears the correct frequency that it should be vibrating at and makes the needed changes to heal itself.

Short Description of Shingles

Shingles is a disease due to an infection by the varicella zoster virus, the same virus that causes chickenpox. Once a patient has recovered from chickenpox, the virus becomes inactive or dormant in the body. However, it can reactivate itself at a later time resulting in shingles.

Symptoms of Shingles

The early signs of shingles include:

  • Enlarged lymph nodes
  • Fever, chills, and headache
  • Itching
  • Raised dots on your skin and redness in that area
  • Stabbing or shooting pain
  • Tingling or burning feeling in or under your skin
  • Upset stomach

About Shingles

The chickenpox virus results in itchy blisters that begin on the back, chest, and face and then spreads to the rest of the body. In shingles, the rash begins with a shooting pain and it usually begins up on one side of the body. The rash turns into red, fluid-filled blisters that dry out and crust over within seven to ten days. It fully clears up within two to four weeks.

Prior to the appearance of the rash, patients often report pain, itching, or tingling in the area where it will develop. Most often, the rash appears in a single stripe around either the left or the right side of the body. In some cases, the rash can appear on one side of the face. If this happens, it can have an adverse effect on the eye and result in vision loss.

Etiology of Shingles

When the varicella zoster gets into the body, the first disease it causes is chicken pox. Once the virus runs its course, it migrates into the nerve tissues near the spinal cord and brain and stays there. Sometimes, years later, the virus “wakes up” and travels along the nerve fibers of the skin. This is where it causes shingles, also known as herpes zoster.

The most common risk factor for the development of shingles is a weakened immune system. Other risk factors include: being 50 years old or older, presence of a lot of stress, having cancer, HIV or another disease that lowers the body’s defenses, serious physical injury, long-term taking of steroids and other medicines that weaken the immune system.

Most people that develop the disease have only one episode during their lifetime, but you can have shingles more than once. If you have the disease, direct contact with the fluid from your rash blisters can cause the spread of varicella zoster virus to people that have never had chickenpox or never received the vaccine.
