Sitting

Always try to keep a natural inward curve to your lower back and try to keep a tall and upright upper back.  If you are seated on bucket seats, soft sofas and chairs try to use a rolled up towel or pillow in order to provide good support to your lower back.  When standing up from a chair, begin by moving your hips forward to the front of the chair and then followed by your leg muscles as you lift yourself up.

While standing for more than just a few minutes, place one foot up on a stool or in an open cabinet if you are in the kitchen. Try to switch the other foot every so often.
