What is Stress?

Stress is anything that challenges your body’s ability to stay healthy and can be physical or psychological. A little stress is probably ok, even a happy event can be somewhat stressful. But when stress is excessive, your body undergoes several changes. It becomes depleted of energy, is unable to repair and regenerate as it should, it actually starts aging at a faster rate.

Good Nutrition – Having a well-balanced diet can help you feel better in general. Your body needs the raw material necessary to strengthen itself when you are stressed.

Good Rest – Your body needs time to rebuild and regenerate itself while you rest. You should try and get at least seven hours of sleep per day because if you get less than seven hours of sleep, your body won’t be able to tolerate stress as well as it could other times.

Relax Your Muscles – Stretching, enjoying a hot bath or shower, or enjoying a full body massage can be very beneficial for helping your body relax and heal.

Sound Therapy – Given the proper tools to work with, your body has the ability to heal itself. can be extremely useful in the treatment of all stress-related conditions. Your body wants to be healthy and sound therapy provides your body with the frequencies it needs to heal and recover. It reminds your body of where it is supposed to be in order to be healthy.

All of the above items can and should be used to overcome stress and get back to your natural healthy state.
